About the Sage Intacct integration

Sage Intacct is a cloud financial management system used by mid-sized companies, nonprofits and multi-entity groups. The Unify ERP API reads its entities, vendors, AP bills, AR invoices and GL journals.

Sage Intacct offers an XML Web Services API that uses a sender ID plus company user credentials, and a newer REST API with OAuth 2.0. The Unify ERP API maps entities, locations, departments and user-defined dimensions to the Unify Graph, so multi-entity books keep their structure.

Why build Sage Intacct on Unify Int

  • One data model

Sage Intacct records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Sage Intacct. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Sage Intacct custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Sage Intacct connection, so support can see what happened.

Sage Intacct integration questions

Does Unify Int support Sage Intacct AP Bills and AR Invoices?
Yes, in beta. The Unify ERP API reads Sage Intacct entities, accounts, vendors, customers, AP Bills, AR Invoices, purchase orders, order entry transactions, journal entries and items. Write-back for vendors, customers and AP Bills is on the roadmap; it appears as Write on this page only once it is confirmed.
How do customers connect their Sage Intacct account?
Your customer adds the Unify Int sender ID to their Sage Intacct company and creates a web services user, then enters those credentials in Unify Connect. OAuth 2.0 is used where the REST API applies.
Is there a Sage Intacct sandbox for testing?
Yes. Sage Intacct sandbox companies are available to customers and partners and can be connected like production.
How often does Sage Intacct data sync?
Sage Intacct does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access Sage Intacct custom fields?
Yes. Custom fields and user-defined dimensions in Sage Intacct map into the model per connection; custom objects are available through passthrough.
