About the Mastercard Open Finance integration

Mastercard Open Finance (formerly Finicity) provides consumer-permissioned access to US and Canadian bank account data. Unify Int reads its accounts, balances and transactions into the bank data model.

Mastercard Open Finance uses a partner ID and secret plus an app key, with Mastercard Connect for customer consent and webhooks for connection events. Unify Int maps customers' accounts, balances, transactions and account statements to the Unify Graph for lending and cash-flow use cases.

Why build Mastercard Open Finance on Unify Int

  • One data model

Mastercard Open Finance records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Mastercard Open Finance. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Mastercard Open Finance custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Mastercard Open Finance connection, so support can see what happened.
