Request Pimcore

About the Pimcore integration

Pimcore is an open-source data and experience management platform with PIM, MDM and DAM capabilities. The Unify Catalog API reads its product data objects, classifications, categories and assets.

Pimcore exposes data through its Datahub (GraphQL and REST configurations) with API keys per endpoint, on self-hosted or Pimcore-hosted installations. Unify Int maps product data objects, classification store attributes, categories and assets to the Unify Graph.

Why build Pimcore on Unify Int

  • One data model

Pimcore records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Pimcore. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Pimcore custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Pimcore connection, so support can see what happened.

Pimcore integration questions

Does Unify Int support Pimcore products and attributes?
Pimcore is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading products, attributes, categories and assets, with write-back for products, categories and assets to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Pimcore account?
Your customer configures a Datahub endpoint with an API key for Unify Int and enters its URL and key in Unify Connect.
Is there a Pimcore sandbox for testing?
Pimcore is self-hosted, so testing uses the customer's staging instance or a local demo installation.
How often does Pimcore data sync?
Pimcore does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access Pimcore custom fields?
Pimcore classes are fully customer-defined; fields are mapped to core product fields per connection.
