About the ShipBob integration

ShipBob is a fulfillment network and 3PL for direct-to-consumer and B2B brands. The Unify Inventory API reads its products, inventory by fulfillment center, orders, shipments and receiving orders.

ShipBob's API supports OAuth 2.0 for apps and personal access tokens, with webhooks for order and shipment events. The Unify Inventory API maps products, inventory by fulfillment center, orders, shipments with tracking and warehouse receiving orders to the Unify Graph.

Why build ShipBob on Unify Int

  • One data model

ShipBob records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize ShipBob. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map ShipBob custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every ShipBob connection, so support can see what happened.

ShipBob integration questions

Does Unify Int support ShipBob inventory levels and products?
ShipBob is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading products, inventory levels, fulfillment centers, receiving orders, orders and shipments, with write-back for products, inventory levels and receiving orders to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their ShipBob account?
Your customer approves Unify Int with OAuth 2.0 in Unify Connect, or creates a personal access token in ShipBob.
Is there a ShipBob sandbox for testing?
Yes. ShipBob provides a sandbox environment for developers.
How often does ShipBob data sync?
Unify Sync uses ShipBob webhooks for change detection, so new and updated records usually arrive within minutes, with scheduled polling as a safety net. You can set the schedule per object.
Can I access ShipBob custom fields?
ShipBob order tags and references are kept on each order; the full record stays in `raw`.
