About the Odoo integration

Odoo is an open-source suite of business apps, covering accounting, inventory, sales and manufacturing, used by small and mid-sized companies. The Unify ERP API covers its journals, partners, invoices and products.

Odoo exposes an external API over XML-RPC and JSON-RPC, authenticated with a user and API key, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or self-hosted instances. Unify Int maps companies, accounts, partners, customer invoices and vendor bills, journal entries, products and stock quants to the Unify Graph.

Why build Odoo on Unify Int

  • One data model

Odoo records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Odoo. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Odoo custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Odoo connection, so support can see what happened.

Odoo integration questions

Does Unify Int support Odoo vendor bills and invoices?
Odoo is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading companies, accounts, partners (vendors), partners (customers), vendor bills, invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, journal entries and products, with write-back for partners (vendors), partners (customers) and vendor bills to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Odoo account?
Your customer enters their Odoo URL, database and a user API key in Unify Connect. Access follows that user's Odoo access rights.
Is there a Odoo sandbox for testing?
Yes. Odoo offers trial databases and staging branches on Odoo.sh that can be connected for testing.
How often does Odoo data sync?
Odoo does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access Odoo custom fields?
Yes. Custom fields (x_ fields) and custom models from Odoo Studio can be mapped per connection or read through passthrough.
