About the eBay integration

eBay is a global online marketplace for new, used and refurbished goods, used by businesses and individual sellers. The Unify Orders API covers sellers' orders, payouts, returns, listings and inventory.

eBay's RESTful Sell APIs (Fulfillment, Finances, Inventory, Account) use OAuth 2.0 user tokens, with platform notifications for events. The Unify Orders API maps orders, line items, payouts and transactions, returns, inventory items and offers to the Unify Graph.

Why build eBay on Unify Int

  • One data model

eBay records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize eBay. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map eBay custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every eBay connection, so support can see what happened.

eBay integration questions

Does Unify Int support eBay orders and products?
eBay is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading orders, products, variants, fulfillments, refunds, inventory levels and payouts, with write-back for products, variants and fulfillments to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their eBay account?
Your customer signs in to eBay in Unify Connect and grants the requested Sell API scopes with OAuth 2.0.
Is there a eBay sandbox for testing?
Yes. eBay provides a sandbox environment with test users.
How often does eBay data sync?
Unify Sync combines eBay change notifications where the platform emits them with incremental polling elsewhere. You set the frequency per object, from a few minutes for transactional records to daily for reference data.
Can I access eBay custom fields?
eBay item specifics are kept on each product; the full eBay record stays in `raw`.
